Lacey's Story...
Lacey is a very sweet once she get to know you!    She is very nervous when meeting new people and experiencing new things, however she loves other dogs! She takes time to trust as she didn't have an easy start to life. She loves sharing the bed with her foster family but is also happy to sleep on the floor as long as she is with us she is happy. She is very playful and loves tennis balls, bones and other chew toys. Although she is still a puppy she is good with chewing her own toys, unless there is paper left out Lacey loves paper! She is doing very well with house training, it is still ongoing but accidents are few and far between and usually a result of us not recognizing her trying to tell us she needs out.
Lacey would do best in a home with a confident yet playful dog, she loves playing with the resident dog and is very gentle when she plays. Lacey gets along well with the resident cat as well. She has lots of energy and loves to run in the back yard. She knows limited basic commands, "come" can be the most challenging due to her nervous nature. She is a very sweet girl who enjoys being loved but will need time to trust. She is crate trained when we are out of the house and she feels very safe and secure in her crate, she even goes in when she is unsure of something (i.e when company comes in).  She is very quiet, however she will let you know when someone is at the door.
Lacey has such a  beautiful soul for a dog  that only just  was born in November (2013)  and she would make a great companion for someone willing to take the time and allow her to adjust, she has been a blessing to have in our home and has rewarded us with many kisses, cuddles and laughs.
Lacey has been spayed, micro chipped, Heart worm tested (Neg), de wormed and has be treated with Revolution during the flea season.  Her adoption fee will $375.00 which will include her health records.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a London Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in London, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in London.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in London already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a London breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in London paves the way for another one to be saved.
