found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Piper is a Shar Pei/Bulldog mix and you can see on the 3rd photo she had cherry eye but we have repaired that. Piper ale had a flea infestation and hair loss when she came in. Her fur is growing back nicely now. Piper is 5 years old, a female who has spent most of her life being passed around from one person to another as they moved or situation changed. Piper has taken this in pretty good stride except she was neglected as far as vet care was involved. When she came into rescue we spayed her, fixed her cherry eyes and have looked after her skin which was the result of a flea infestation, vaccinated, heart worm tested (neg) and microchipped Piper.
Her foster mom says "
Piper has lived with children often, cats and with dogs. She accepts people well. Piper is not fond of eye drops though. Hopefully she will not need those too much longer. She does allow her foster to put the drops in as Piper trusts her. Piper gets very excited and wiggly when her foster gets home from work. Piper should live in a single family home as she will bark at passer bys, especially dogs walking by the house. She however is crate trained so when crated she does not see anyone walking. Piper is housetrained and loves to cuddle on the couch if allowed. And is such a sweet girl!!
If you are interested in meeting Piper please fill out an Adoption Application at www.animalert.ca. A volunteer will get back to you.
