JACKSON's Story...
JACKSON was rescued as a stray puppy wandering alone at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. It is hard to imagine how such a precious, beautiful young pup could be on his own, trying to survive. He is lucky to be alive; he was rescued just as "the sweep" was taking place on the reservation, where dogs & puppies are rounded up, taken to the landfill, and shot to death.

Jackson is 3-4 months old, has beautiful soft fur, and soulful eyes that hold such a heartbreaking tale of hardship & loneliness. We have promised him he will never again worry about where his next meal will come from, where he will be able to rest safely, or what his future will hold. We have promised him a lifetime of happiness & joy, that we will find a loving family that will cherish the priceless treasure that he is.

Jackson has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $350. For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JACKSON, a Lincoln Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
