My name is Star!

Himalayan Cat for adoption in Lafayette, California - Star

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Star's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Star's Story...
Star is a stunning fluffy lynx point Siamese/ Himalayan mix. He is approximately 7 months old, and was found as a kitten with his sister Flower, who is also up for adoption. They were left in a box in front of a local shelter dirty, hungry, and sick. They were treated with medication and now have a clean bill of health! Both Flower and Star are already spayed/ neutered, and vaccinated.

Star is more shy & lives for food. He gets along with other cats great. He has little interest or fear of the dogs that live in his foster home. Flower is more outgoing & lovable. She loves all the cats & the dogs. She wants to be loved ALL THE TIME. She would definitely prefer to live with other animals.

Adoption fee is $135 and includes up to date vaccines, deworming, FeLV/FIV testing of one kitten in each litter, and spay/neuter. Email jakrivero@yahoo.com or text 925-667-7701 for more information. You can fill out an adoption application at www.BigDawgsRescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Lafayette Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Lafayette, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Lafayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lafayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lafayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lafayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
