Hello World,
I’m Davey, a delightful and playful little guy of about six. Mom says I’m a lover and a cuddler who is good with other dogs and people. I’m also great in the car, good on a walk, housebroken (that is not a typo!) and an all- around social butterfly. (Silly Mom! I’m not a butterfly at all. I’m a furkid!)
Dad says I’m also a playful little guy – and a bit of an imp. You see, I like to find a toy and carry it around the house. Then my doggy foster brother or sister will see me carrying the toy and that starts a game we call tug-of-war and keep-away. Dad says I’m very good natured and that we all take turns winning. Most of all we just have fun.
My other play habits include following my doggy foster sister, chasing, play fighting and playing with other toys. I have a fair amount of energy but am also a major cuddler. And I am a sensitive little guy, too. One of my doggy foster brothers is 15 years old and is deaf and blind. I’m very considerate of him and careful around him. Mom says that kind of judgment and sensitivity is sure to win hearts, as it has won hers.
Dad says I come when I’m called (he thinks that’s a great start!), listen well and sometimes sit on command. He and I are working on that – and, since I like to please, it will be no time at all before I know lots of commands.
If you have another furkid, want a loving, social, happy and cuddly little guy who loves to sit in your lap or play and entertain you, please ask for me. I’m 15 pounds of fun just waiting to be yours.
