Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Honey
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 4 months (born mid August)
WEIGHT: About 5 pounds
DOGS/CATS: Great with other small dogs, Unsure on cats
CHILDREN: Better in an all adult home
Meet adorable Honey. This little girl fits her name perfectly - she is as sweet as honey!
Honey is a stunning little girl. She has a very light tan coat, and beautiful eyes. And she is sweet as can be.
Although Honey is a puppy, she is a little on the shy side. She likes people, but she is cautious when she first meets you. As soon as she determines you are safe to be around, she wants to be your best buddy. She is a quiet little girl and will fit great into a calm environment.
Honey gets along great with the other fosters in her home. She enjoys being with her foster brothers and sisters. But she is just as happy playing by herself. She enjoys her quiet time, and is a very laid back little girl. She would do fine in a pack, or as an only dog.
Honey enjoys going out in the yard to explore. She is very small - barely 5 pounds, and we don't expect her to get much larger. Because of her tiny size, you will want to be out in the yard with her to protect her (there are cases of larger birds such as hawks snatching tiny dogs less than 5 pounds and flying off with them). She isn't sure about playing with toys yet, but is curious about them!
Honey is extremely smart. Even though she is only 4 months old, she learns very quickly. She is already pee pee pad trained and is working on her outdoor potty routine. She is also being crate trained. She is willing to learn everything, and needs a great family to teach her as she matures! Due to her tiny size, and shy personality, we recommend that Honey be adopted into an adult only home.
Honey is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
