Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Goldie, 15, is thankful to be alive! Fourteen years ago this darling girl, a Golden Retriever mix, was adopted (at age 1) from a local shelter. In late Nov 2014, the same family took Goldie back to that shelter and surrendered her for euthanasia. The reason given? "Old." Such abandonment is hard to understand. In a moment, Goldie lost all she knew, and was bereft. A shelter volunteer alerted us about Goldie and we called the shelter right away. Thankfully, Goldie was not killed. This sweet, confused girl was rescued into our Lily's Legacy pack. Goldie is now in a wonderful foster home and now bunches of TLC and is regaining her bearings. She is dog-friendly, housebroken, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her medical intake is under way, and by all accounts she's in remarkable shape for her age. Gentle Goldie is available for adoption.
