Brrr, it is a chilly season! My name is Flick, it is so nice to meet you! Do you like my scarf? My foster mom says it makes me look like a dapper 10 month old gentleman. I am a very good boy, but I have to admit…I love to flirt and I totally kiss on the first date.
So far in foster care, but buddy Ralphie and I have been showing off what sweet dogs we are. We are rock’n the stockings off our foster home with how great we are doing with potty training. Both of us totally understand the need for a “Silent Night” and don’t make a peep in the crate. I also love to play with tennis balls (even at barely 10lbs, I can pick one up all by myself!) and I’m an excellent wrestler of stuffed animals. I am still learning basic commands, but I have made friends with other dogs, kids and even a cat. It does take me a moment to warm up, life has not always been so kind to me.
My buddy Ralphie and I were recently brought into the shelter, because our last owners didn’t want us anymore. We were super duper scared. The holidays can be ruff as it is, but in a loud shelter? Goodness gracious – we just shook and shivered it was so scary. Then the nice folks at NBS Animal Rescue promised us that there are people out there that don’t abandon animals – and would love their dog fur-ever! It sounds too good to be true – but I’ve been told that Christmas is a time for peace, joy and hope – so I am going to have all three.

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
