Luna is an American Bulldog/ Pit Bull, 3 year old girl that's looking for a home for Christmas! She recently finished 6 weeks of obedience training(to beef up her "total package" status!) She's current on her shots, spayed and microchipped. She would be great in a home with a male dog or a low key relaxed dog that isn't too pushy. She rides well in the car and walks well on leash. She is a great dog that is gentle, very athletic, and a total love bug!!!

About Take Me Home Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Take Me Home (TMH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than twelve years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save dogs on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.

We are very skilled in running mobile dog adoptions and working with families in all aspects of finding their new family member. We also have an on-site trainer at most of our adoption events and available as a resource after our dogs are placed in loving homes.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull a dog from a shelter, we will quarantine him/her to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older dogs.

As with any non-profit organization, we rely solely on funds from generous and cherished supporters to keep our doors open to save more lives. If you're not ready to adopt, please still consider donating to Take Me Home ( today. Every little bit helps!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Take Me Home has various mobile adoption events, please check out our website for our most up to date calendar of events.

We are always looking for and need volunteers and foster homes!

We also show all of our dogs by appointment. If you would like to meet one of our precious pups, please call us on the TMH BARKLINE: 310-967-4637.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential families must complete a short and easy application, talk to one of our friendly adoption volunteers and undergo a convenient home check.

Before a dog goes home, all families must complete and sign an adoption contract and we do ask for a suggested donation on all adoptions.
