Serenity's Story...
I love to play! What I love even more than playing - sleeping! Unfortunately, my previous pet parents were moving to an area where they could not take me. I lived with other cats and it might take me a while to adjust to any new furry friends. I like being petted and will sit next to you for them. Along with playing, I love catnip! I was used to a noisy household before, so a new noisy house shouldn't be too frightening for me. Although I like being petted, please do not touch my feet - that makes me nervous. I was an indoor only cat before, and never had a desire to escape outdoors. My previous parents didn't take me to the vet often, so I am unsure how I do in carriers or being examined. Please move slowly with me, I get a little nervous with fast movements. I am also a picky eater - I only like canned food that is minced. Think I might be a good fit? Come visit me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serenity, a Lowell Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lowell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lowell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lowell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lowell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lowell paves the way for another one to be saved.
