Facts about Faith

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Medium
Faith is truly one of a kind. She is extremely well mannered. She loves to be petted and talked to but will not stay on your lap for very long. She gets along great with the other kitties and the family dog in her foster home. Her favorite toy is her little stuffed bunny. Faith only has one eye, and the vision in her other eye is believed to be poor, however this does not hold her back at all. She runs and plays all the time with her best friend. Faith and Trissy spend countless hours playing or taking long catnaps together. Trissy is another kitty available for adoption through HSRC. While they do have a lot of fun together, we would allow them to be adopted separately or as a pair.

About Humane Society of Rowan County

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small non-profit rescue group. We rescue abandoned and stray sick and injured dogs and cats. Occasionally we will get a rabbit or some other kind of small animal although that is very rare. We also help low income people get medical care for a sick or injured pet and also provide help with food for pets. We always need food and litter donations as well as funds to help people with medical needs. We run a Spay/Neuter Clinic once a month with the Animal Care Clinic of Salisbury and ongoing with the China Grove Animal Hospital.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do adoption events at Petsmart in Salisbury at least twice a month and bring cats and/or dogs. Some of our animals are boarded at the Animal Care Clinic in Salisbury, NC because we desparately need foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

An adoption application must be completed. There is an adoption fee of $50.00. We do a home visit before approving the adoption. We prefer that the yard be fenced in if adopting a dog, but will review each case on an individual basis. We prefer that our cats be kept indoors.
