Facts about Cuddles

  • Breed: Cockatoo
  • Color: White
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
Hi there,
My name is Cuddles but those who know me call me cuddle bug. I can live 80 years when given the correct life. I like to tell my flock in the morning I made it through the night. I also like to let my flock know I made it through the day. Please know, I am so proud I can be heard a mile away
Some of the special foods I like is banana, cracked nuts, apples, just a bit of oranges, scrambled eggs, cucumber, and I love when my human makes something special called birdie sushi. That is a tortilla with some peanut butter, cucumber, broccoli and some apple.
I am really looking for a human I can bond with. I am a very loving partner for the right human. Are you that human that loves to play music, dance, sing, cuddle, read great classics? ??? Then I AM YOUR CUDDLE BUG let's cuddle soon.

Cuddles is a ten year old Umbrella Cockatoo who came to the Fullmer Menagerie Animal Rescue as an owner surrender, her previous owner was a breeder who gave Cuddles up because she was a feather plucker, she had almost no feathers when she came to us. Over the years she has become much better, but she will still pick at her feathers if she gets stresses out. Her feathers are damaged, from her previous compulsion so she will never be full feathered. Cuddles is a very sweet girl and she loves attention. She loves when kids come around the Menagerie because she can show them all her fun tricks. She loves to play peek-a-boo to dance. She is the kind of bird who bonds to one of two people in the family, and she becomes very close with them. She is not really a biter, but she will if she gets angry. She loves to bite at moles, she think they are bugs or something it's pretty cute. Cuddles needs a home with someone who knows how to work with large birds, and that have had large birds in the past. Cuddle's loves to spend time out of her cage, she can become fearful when dogs bark, but she is otherwise good around them Cuddles's adoption fee is $800. About Fullmer Menagerie Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an animal welfare organization that rescues animals in dire need of assistance from shelters, abandonment, poor living situations, etc.

Fullmer Menagerie Animal Rescue is a not for profit, 501c3, all volunteer, no-kill organization dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused or neglected animals by providing them with shelter, care, and rehabilitation both medically and emotionally. Further, we continuously strive to promote the importance of spaying and neutering. We offer training to help with problem animals as opposed to giving them up for adoption or surrender to a shelter.
