Clydesdale's Story...
Clydesdale is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 4-21-08 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date, As of this Month Pooch is still at the shelter in need of rescue

Clydesdale is around 1 year old, Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) , walks on a leash, sits when I asked, appears to be super sweet & loving, does not like shelter life but does enjoy the volunteers that come and give him his walks, he looks forward to them showing up. happy, full of love & fun, pretty well mannered, playful & mellow at the same time, and is a special dog in need of a family or companion(s) to love.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Clydesdale's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paws and giving little kisses and hugs. Clydesdale appeared to past the test with no problems, he is a very handsome young man. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Clydesdale to play and be safe in. We feel he make one outstanding companion. If you wish, Clydesdale can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Clydesdale. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clydesdale, a Grass Valley Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
