If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please go to our website and complete the online adoption application at www.floridayorkierescue.com. Your application will then be forwarded to the adoption committee and they will contact you. Please note that we receive more applications than we have dogs, so the adoption committee will choose the family they feel will best suit the needs of the dog. A home visit is required and will be conducted.

Her foster Mom described her this way...Mild mannered, hardly ever barks, great traveler, sleeps through the night, not a jumper, uses steps, she has no problem with the other dogs, but she doesn't engage either. Couch potato. Not needy, but likes to be with people. Doesn't bolt at door openings. Pee pad trained. She needs peace and harmony. She doesn't have any separation anxiety when we leave. She is spayed, micro-chipped, has had all of her vaccinations and a dental cleaning. she is ready to go. She is a 7 year young Maltese who is currently very thin and weighs a tiny 3.6 lbs. She will need to gain a couple of pounds to be at a good weight. Please go to our website to complete the online adoption application.
