Facts about Leroy

Leroy isn't just looking for any home; he is looking for the RIGHT home. He isn't your typical Great Dane, he is very energetic, and could be best described as a 150 pound puppy. This fellow needs someone who is physically strong enough to confidently handle him while walking him on-leash, he needs daily exercise to help him get some of his energy out and bond with his humans. He would do best with a family that plans to continue his obedience training, and provide unconditional love to him.
Leroy's forever home must have a fenced in yard that is comprised of 6 foot wooden fencing, he is agile and can jump rather high. He loves the company of female dogs and would do best in a home with another playful female pooch, but he doesn't get along with other male dogs; so his home should be one that can accommodate this requirement to keep him, and other dogs safe. He gets along well with kitties, but confident cats who are accustomed to dogs work best in his presence. He loves children, but due to his size and overall goofiness; all children in the home should be 10 years of age or older. His ideal home would be one where he isn't left for long hours by himself; he adores his humans and would like to spend lots of time with them.
