Penny: When we first met this beauty, she was injured on the side of the road and WOW has she made the comeback of the century! She is a wonderful dog because she is energetic and playful while outside but once back in the lobby, she immediately plops down on a rug and just observes the going-ons, blinking and head tilting at things she is interested in. She is the perfect dog for an active person or family because she knows how to have fun, but has wonderful indoor manners and etiquette.
We have had the opportunity to get to know Penny in a more 'real life' kind of way because she has been diagnosed with a heart murmur which makes her spay operation more tricky so she had to be transported to specialists for x-rays and tests, have many people handle her, and stay overnight and different offices….She was a total gem with everyone and has been such a good patient, and this says a lot about a dog.
She romps with a few of our friendly male dogs and would love a goofy canine companion but would also be happy as your one and only……We see some Boxer in her genetics and her markings are show-stopping, just a terrific Mix-y-mix with a heart of gold- Come meet Penny and get ready to fall in love!
