My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Happy, active, young border collie looking for a home. Buck came to BrightSide after timing out at another shelter. We are glad to have this energetic boy. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 37 pounds. Today he chased balls as long as the volunteer would throw them. On some days he returns them just so he can do it all over again. On other days, he wants to play keep away with the volunteer. Buck is not good with cats and we don't know yet if he might be OK with other dogs. He is certainly curious and wants to greet all the dogs he meets along the trail. He is affectionate and very much treat motivated. Buck makes good eye contact and knows to come and to sit. Obedience training with this boy is certainly recommended. And Buck would love it. If you think you have room in your adult home (he is a very busy boy) and heart for an affectionate, active boy then please contact us about Buck. He's a great dog.
