Motley's Story...
Playful and fun Boston terrier mix boy. Motley came to BrightSide because his owner's landlord didn't allow dogs. He is a year and a half old and just 34 pounds. Motley makes excellent eye contact and our staff considers him very trainable. Already he does a very nice sit and takes treats very softly. Motley pulls a bit when he is on the leash and he is always eager to go. He went for a nice long run in the Christmas Eve snowfall with one of our volunteers. He is affectionate and appreciates a good body rub. Motley gets along with some other dogs but not all. There are some he does not appreciate. As always a meet and greet opportunity with existing household pets is so very important. He appears to be ok with cats. Motley would be a happy addition to an active household. Please contact us about him. Adoption applications are available (1) online - www.brightsideanimals.org, or (2) email request to adopt@brightsideanimals.org or (3) at BrightSide Animal Center in Redmond, OR.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Motley, a Redmond Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Redmond, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Redmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
