Willard's Story...
Name: Willard
Color: Black and Tan Tabby
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Gender: Male
Age: 2 Years 1 Month
Willard is a super affectionate boy looking for a loving forever home.
Big fan of: Willard is incredibly playful and really loves chasing after feather wands. He will need some fun, stimulating toys in his new home and would greatly appreciate daily playtime. Willard would also enjoy a tall cat tree so he has an appropriate place to stretch and scratch on.
Special Features: Being a long-haired kitty, his new family will need to brush him regularly to make sure he doesn't get any mats on his belly or chest. Willard would prefer to stay beautiful and he will just need a little help making sure that happens.
Dream Home: Willard would likely do well in a home with another easy going, playful feline but he would do best in a home without any dogs. Any children in Willard's home should be respectful of his space and not try to carry him around or pick him up awkwardly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willard, a Bellingham Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
