My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES NOVA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Nova came to us from a very high intake metro shelter that destroys over 8000 animals per year. No other rescue was available for Nova, Nova was about to lose her life, thru no fault of her own. Nova is approx. 2 yrs. old, she is very sweet, timid and shy. Painfully obvious is the amount of neglect that Nova endured by her so called owners.

Nova was another victim of the southern glut of animals from irresponsible pet owners who refuse to spay and neuter.

Nova gets along fine with other dogs, she will probably do best in a more quiet less excitable home,
She will need a patient adopter who will help her to learn to trust and feel safe. She needs to gain at least 10lbs.

If you would like to help Nova to blossom and can offer her that loving home, please copy and paste the link below and fill out the application on our website.
