Star's Story...
This is Star. She is about 1 year old. She weighs about 50 pounds. We think she is very smart. She catches on quickly to new things! Star is quite a sweetheart. Star ended up homeless when her owner decided to move and didn't want to take this sweet girl along! However, she has a great personality and is a favorite of all the volunteers who work with her. Did I mention that she is a very pretty young girl? She has beautiful markings and her coat is easy to manage and keep clean! She loves to play and go for walks. Star is learning to walk on a leash without pulling. Playing with other dogs is a favorite of hers and she gets along with all that she meets. She likes people of all ages. Star would love to have family to call her own. She would fit in with any size family and is a real pleaser! Star loves treats and will work for one every time!
Do you have room for this sweetheart in your life? Star is counting on it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Allentown Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
