My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES HELEN INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!

Helen and her siblings were disposed of at a Tennessee shelter where they were exposed to parvo and a few days after we rescued them they got sick with the dreaded illness. Sadly we lost 2 of the 6, however 4 of these Beautiful Puppies known as Shobies as we call them are doing fabulous, Parvo Survivors, they have overcome one of the worst things life can throw at a puppy.

Now the reason we call them Shobies? The DNA results came back....The pups are German Shepherd and Doberman. While they look more doberman and have long legs, shorter coats like dobermans,
they almost look purebred. While their tails are full and intact, IDGSR frowns upon the cruel and barbaric practice of ear cropping and tail docking. These beautiful puppies are who they are and we would never want our puppies to endure this painful and torturous surgery.

There are 2 males and 2 females. These pups will be very large, currently at 12-14 weeks, they are 25-30lbs. all ready and will be likely in the 70-90lbs range as adults, Helen is the more petite of the litter. All are healthy, robust, feisty, loving and sweet spitfires that will need the guidance of a patient and loving dog parent to help them be fully socialized and trained stable minded confident dogs that their doggie parent will be proud of. A well trained dog is a dog the owner is proud of, well bonded and the responsible pet own will be willing to do all this and more for their dog.

If you would like to make Helen or one of her siblings a member of your family, please apply with this rescue by copying and pasting the link below.
