Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Laughing Lauren is a beautiful, happy, 2 year old female red nose Pit Bull that weighs 60 lbs. This girl was not wanted anymore so her owner threw her over into a CCR foster’s yard that had a 6 foot privacy fence; quite a hard feat to do with such a hefty dog. Lauren was sore for a few days and had some scratches from whatever life she had before. Despite all this, she has remained a happy girl that just craves some attention all her own. The great thing is that there were other dogs in the yard when she went flying over the fence, so we immediately knew she got along great with other dogs. She is an active girl and would do well hiking and running. Like most dogs, an active lifestyle creates a more balanced dog that is happy and content and willing to mind and settle in when you need them to. Our guess is Lauren was a chain dog. She does need help with pulling on a leash and house training due to not having a lot of one-on-one time in the house to set a schedule for her. Her present foster mom works and Lauren is crated 8 hours daily or more. She does well with that, but we would prefer a home with fewer dogs and less time spent alone, or just one other dog and lots of time to give her where she will blossom into the best girl that she has the potential to be.
