My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lacey is 2 y/o female who was found stray in a neighborhood in Kingwood. No family showed up to claim her, so she came to HBHR to find a new home. This beauty is a slender 25 pounds for a 14 inch beagle.

Lacey came fully housebroken and knowing how to use a dog door. She has never gotten into anything that did not belong to the pack. This girl has perfect house manners, but she does like to sleep on the ‘big’ bed some nights! Lacey plays well with the other members of her foster pack. She enjoys a good chase, because she is fast and can lead all on a fast spin around the yard! She can be vocal if she spots a squirrel, but is usually a quiet girl.

Lacey does love to snuggle up to her human. She will occasionally get right up near your face as if she wants to be as close as possible, but she settles down with direction. This sweet, loving girl needs time and attention from her new family. She has never been possessive of her spot on someone’s lap, so will be willing to share with as many as you have! Lacey is young and will do best with a canine buddy, if she is alone all day. Please apply today to come and meet this wonderful girl!
