Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Look at my eyes, they are pleading for someone to hold me and love me. I had a rough start at life and was found starving on the streets with my brother. Once I was at animal control I caught a cold and was going to be put to sleep. My foster mom saved me at the last second and boy am I grateful! My name is Dutchess and I am a two year old german shorthair pointer/jack russel mix. I weigh about 35 pounds and I am a very petite medium sized dog.
Let me tell you about myself! I love going for walks and walk gently on the leash even in chaotic situations.
I am very submissive to people and even though my whole life revolves around food, I have no problems with food aggression. I know sit, off, and down very well and am fully potty trained. I love food!!!! If you have treats or food I will sit over and over again to try and impress you!
I love my crate and I sleep in it at night quietly. I have been left out of the crate several times while my foster mom was out shopping and during the night and I was such a good girl!!!
I never bark but I am very alert and will get your attention if something does not seem right. I am young but I am not destructive.
I am submissive around other dogs but I can get excited around them. Because of this my foster mom feels it is best for me to only interact with other submissive dogs or with a dog that is ok with letting me have their toys. I would also prefer to be the only lady dog in the house. I have not been tested around cats but could be if needed.
I am spayed and I am up to date on shots, I am heartworm negative, and my adoption fee is $250.00. My eyes are pleading for someone to love me, I want love so bad and am ready to give it back! Won't you adopt me? P.S. Check out my Youtube video!
