Jacob's Story...
Hi, I'm Jacob. I was dumped and left to fend for myself but now I am safe and happy with my Foster Mom and waiting for my forever home. I will curl up with you be loved on but I try to be independent to. I like other girl cats and i tolerate other boys. I'm told I'm a ham because I will flip and run and jump all over when i play with the girls. I am a bit feisty at times so i would purrrrr-fur to be in a home with older kids. If you have any questions or would like more information on me contact my foster mom Ashley (AshleyGaHomelessPets@gmail.com or text 678.234.3710) Will you be my forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jacob, a Smyrna Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
