JARVIS's Story...
Jarvis is a one-year-old Dutch shepherd cattle dog mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Memphis Tennessee. He was on the euthanasia list, and tested positive for heart worms. We are treating his heart worms currently, and he should be available for adoption in April. He is a precious sweet dog that loves children, other dogs, and is just a wonderful boy. He is a little shy with new situations, but warms up when he knows he can trust. He loves to play with his foster brother dog, and is very loyal and affectionate. His adoption fee of 450 includes his current vetting, his neutering, his microchip, his rabies vaccination, his Bordetella vaccination, his five in one canine vaccination, is required health certificate to travel out-of-state, and his transport from Memphis to your area once adopted. Please email wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application on Jarvis.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JARVIS, a Hagerstown Dutch Shepherd/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Cattle Dog for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
