Tank's Story...
Hello Hello Hello! My name is Tank and I am six month old Boxer / Black mix. My old owner developed asthma from a dog allergy so I found myself at the shelter.
I am everything you would think a pup of this age would be sweet, anxious to learn and VERY active. I am very sweet natured and I do great with other pups and cats – I love them all and I will play with anyone or anything that wants to play with me!
Although I am very sweet I would like a home with no kids under 5 just because I am a puppy and I will want to play with the kids. I am very smart and I already know my basic commands like sit, down and shake! I am looking for a home with an active owner that will want to take me to dog parks and on jogs and fun outdoor trips!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $180

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tank, a Portland Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
