Oreo's Info...

Oreo's Story...
Oreo is a high energy smooth coated dog who loves to chase a tennis ball...although she rarely brings it back to you! She was a beloved friend to an elderly gentleman who was forced to surrender her when family emergency struck. Oreo is so out of sorts in the kennel as she knows she belongs in a home. She would make a great running partner for an adult or a playmate for older children who know how to get out of her way when she comes bouncing through! Oreo is spayed, heartworm negative and quite healthy. Please consider adding the pretty girl to your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Union Springs Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Union Springs, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Union Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
