Sammy's Story...
Maxx & Me Pet Rescue Courtesy Post: Hello there, I am Sammy. I'm about 2 years old and I'm a 6 lb. Chihuahua. I am happy and playful, but all I really want to do is to be in my humans lap and to be pet. I can go everywhere with you if you want me to because I'm so small. I love to snuggle and get under the covers as you can see in the pictures and video. Sometimes you have to call my name a couple of times until I pop up from under a blanket and you can see me. I am looking for a forever home with someone who wants a snuggler. I'm better in a calmer environment, I get nervous when it's busy and noisy. I like other dogs and don't seem to mind cats. I'm neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and I am current om my heartworm and flea preventive. My adoption donation is $175.00. Please e-mail leaelises@gmail.com from Maxx & Me Pet Rescue for an application for me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Palm Harbor Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
