This adorable little lady is Kami, a shiba inu/spitz mix that is only about a year old. Kami came to us as a stray that was on the run for three long weeks before finally being rescued and brought in from the cold. The little girl was so happy to be safe, warm and fed that she has not stopped smiling since! Kami is an outgoing and friendly little lady but she is cautious when meeting new people. It only takes her a few minutes to realize that you're okay and once she does, she'll be rolling around, wanting you to play with her. Kami tends to get a little nervous with sudden movements, so she will need a home with no children under the age of 10. She doesn't seem to mind other dogs and will be your best friend for life if you treat her with kindness and respect. Kami loves to go for walks and check out the world around her. She is very curious and puppyish, and so happy to sniff trees, watch a bird fly by, and take a nice run in our exercise yard. Kami is fun loving too, and will throw around anything you toss to her and make a game out of it. This sweetie pie will keep you laughing and smiling always if you give her the great home that she is so deserving of. File#24397 12/23/14
