Emme In Dallas's Story...
Emme is a 1-1.5 year old 26.5 lb Jack Russell/Border Collie female. She plays with all three of my dogs well and will always give them the toy if they are after the same one. She is sweet, eager to please and responds well to treats as well as positive reinforcement. She will come when called, stop with "No!", "sit" and "down" on command. She likes to play with and fetch the ball and flying disk. She sleeps well in a crate and will bark if she needs to go out. She is house trained. Since she will chew, rawhide works well with her. She has had all shots and is heart worm negative. She will be ready for adoption on January 20th. Email mrlynkprl@yahoo.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emme In Dallas, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Border Collie for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Border Collie breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
