My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LuLu is a beautiful one year old Boston Terrier. She weighs about 15 pounds and is spayed, micro chipped and current on vaccinations. She is extremely affectionate and likes to be held and cuddled. She has excellent house manners and loves to play in the yard with her foster family.

Lulu was surrendered to the vet after an attack by another dog that caused her to lose an eye. She has healed well and shows no problems functioning as a 'one-eyed wonder'. She shows no lasting problems from the surgery or the trauma. She's a typical, happy, playful Boston Terrier! She is usually quiet in the house, sleeps on the bed all night long. She loves to go for walks and gladly wears a warm sweater to protect her short fur.

Lulu loves rope toys, squeaky toys and tennis balls. She has almost mastered 'fetch' and will release the toy gently. She has to be watched with soft, squeaky toys as she will destroy them quickly. She listens fairly well for a young dog. LuLu tends to have some skin allergies. This could be a temporary condition from a reaction to medications related to the eye surgery. She may outgrow the allergies. Meanwhile only a grain-free, salmon and sweet potato dog food should be given to her.

LuLu would love an active family that would include her in their activities. She will fit in with another dog and/or kids to play with or be happy as an only dog. As with most Bostons, it is important to continue to socialize her and give her the daily exercise and energy release she needs. A general obedience class would be great for her to help her develop into an even more awesome dog. In return, LuLu will be your best buddy and bring even more fun and love to your life!
