About Fat Cat Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are currently a small rescue group with plans to grow gradually so that we don't loose the ability to maintain a personal/customer service relationship with adopters. Our current Board and volunteers have been rescuing for many years and decided we should formalize our group so that we could ask for an adoption fee and fund raise to cover our expenses and help strays or abandoned animals with serious medical needs. We are all passionate about pets and our goal is to match the best home with the best animal.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Our email to donate via PayPal is: fatcatrescueinc@gmail.com Donations in the form of checks can be mailed to 2523 24th Place in North Chicago, IL 60064.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We conduct meet-and-greets in our foster homes, at our veterinarian's clinic, and we're working with PetCo and Petsmart to bring cats and kittens to their stores for adoption events.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application. We conduct veterinary reference checks. Once a person has been approved for adoption of one of our cats/kittens, we start at $125.00 adoption fee for kittens, $100.00 for cats, $50.00 for senior cats, and a negotiable fee for special need or hard-to-place cats and kittens. We do follow-up calls to ensure the cats have integrated into their new homes.
