Teddy's Story...
Teddy is a well built, elegant little dog that might be small but can easily keep up with the bigger boys. He is an affectionate and loveable little guy that stands only 12 inches and weighs less than 10 lbs.

With next to a non-shedding coat he is great for allergy sufferers and can do fine in an apartment as long as he gets enough exercise. Generally good with children this little dog is cheerful and brave. The breed is great at learning tricks and amazing stories have been told of their loyalty and devotion to their families.

Teddy is a courageous little loving dynamo that will make a delightful and entertaining companion.

If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for Teddy please go to our website at www.4loveofcanines.com and submit an application from the Adoptable Pets page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Hamilton Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
