Sandy smiles! It's probably because she is so happy to be in her new foster home, and not in the shelter anymore. Sandy is a petite, medium size Shepherd mix, about 3-4 years old, who was surrendered by her previous owners, when their son became allergic to her.
Sandy is wonderful and friendly with both adults and children alike. She gets along nicely with all the other dogs in her foster home, although she didn't quite know what to make of them when they try to play with her, but is slowly learning how fun it can be! She has the cutest curled tail, and the softest fur that she loves to have petted, which even makes her even more adorable!!
Sandy is housebroken, up to date on her shots, micro-chipped and heartworm negative. She know how to "sit" and loves to "shake paw". She does pull a little on the leash but with a little training, we know she will be an ace at walking nicely. Sandy is playful and active, so she would be great for a family who likes to go walking, jogging or hiking. She is an adorable girl, who we know will quickly steal your hearts, like she did ours!
