My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BRITTANY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Brittany is a very beautiful, mellow, gentle and very loving senior Border Collie/Corgi mix. Brittany is 14 years old and was brought to a kill shelter in southern IL when her owner's said they no longer had space for her. This poor, sensitive girl has been a loyal companion and does not deserve to spend her final days in a concrete kennel. She is deaf and has limited vision, but is still a very happy and spunky girl with lots of love left to give. All this little lady asks for is a soft comfy bed and lots of love! Brittany does well with other dogs and cats and she'll make a wonderful friend for any senior dog lover. Brittany is crate trained, but since we have only observed her in a shelter environment we cannot say for sure if she is house trained or not, so we do need interested adopters to be willing to possibly take on this task. She is currently awaiting rescue/adoption from a kill-shelter in southern IL. We would love to help her out, but all of our foster homes are filled. If interest is shown in her, Brittany can be transported to Chicago. She will be fully vetted and prepared for adoption. If seriously interested in possibly adopting this deserving girl, please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com

• Brittany's adoption donation is $15O. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Brittany from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
