My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There I was, a breeder's dog in Louisiana....not being given much attention at all. Dogs like attention! My fur was matted and I had sores on my ears, but no one saw that.....SO lucky for me, my owner decided she no longer wanted me and called the shelter. The staff there called a wonderful rescue lady, who came to get me. She took one look at my fur and called the groomer. She vetted me, cared for me, and made sure I was put on the transport to Little Paws 4 U. I am here now in RI, waiting for a home. I am two years old, with a birthdate of 10/12/12. I was thin, but have gained some weight. My weight is around 18 pounds, but I still need to gain 1/2 pound. In spite of my early neglect, I have the sweetest disposition. I would love a family which is around in the day, to attend to my love of companionship. Another, non-aggressive dog would be fine, as would an older, respectful child. My fee of 395. covers all vetting to date, altering, a Heartworm neg.
test, transport to RI, a Health Certificate and I have my own blanket and leash as well.
