Sarge's Story...
Y’ Hello everyone, I’m Sarge and I am looking for a family to call my own. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My foster mom says that I have many good qualities, I am handsome, sweet, lovable, a great snuggler, and all around good boy. I am 5 years young and up till coming into this foster home had it pretty ruff. I was found wandering the streets and my foster mom took me in, since then I have learned quite a lot. I know how to play nicely, how to use a dog door to go outside and how to walk on a leash. I enjoy wrestling with my foster brother who is a boxer and I like being around other dogs. My foster mom says she doesn't know how I would react to cats since she doesn't have any.
If you would like to consider being my family please let the people at Dane Haven Inc. know. I look forward to meeting you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarge, a Mesa Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
