MARIO's Story...
What a little doll! Mario has the cutest personality and he is very sweet, good natured, friendly, happy and playful…just a great little puppy. He loves people and gets along with all the other dogs and cats. He’s so funny, when I was taking his pictures he kept climbing on the little birdbath and posing…guess the rocks were hurting his feet. Mario was rescued from the local kill shelter and now he would love nothing more than to be adopted by an active and loving family. He was born around 9/29/14 which would make him 14 weeks old and only weighs 10 pounds (he should stay fairly small) at the time of this posting. Mario has been neutered, is current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MARIO, a Hartford Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
