My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Mel and I am a 3-4 year old female Shih Tzu mix dog. I was found wandering the middle of December and was brought to a local vet. My fur was totally matted down and so they groomed me and removed most of my fur - can you believe it! My fur is growing back and it is a very pretty grey with a little white mixed in. I will need to go to a family that will take me to the groomers periodically to keep my fur coat looking good.

I am very friendly and I love to run and play with other small dogs and I love love love attention from people. I love to go for walks and I love to sit on laps.

Time was short and the shelter was only able to get one picture of me, but they are going to get more shortly.
