Frankie girl is a sweet loving little girl that has unfortunately had a tough start to life. Frankie was surrendered to rescue after being attacked by a dog in someone's backyard as a stray. She suffered some punctures and wounds as a result and of course a bruised ego. As a result Frankie is scared of unpredicted movements and changes in her environment. She is working diligently to overcome her fears and is making great progress. With proper introductions Frankie is ok with some dogs, we would not want to see Frankie at a dog park as she would be overwhelmed with all the dogs.
Frankie adores her people, she loves to snuggle and cuddle up on the couch with her favourite person. She likes going on walks in quiet areas and exploring at her own pace as well as a good game of fetch! Frankie requires a patient loving home that is wanting to help her rebuild her confidence and work on her fear reactivity so that she can grow up to be a secure balanced dog. Frankie is currently house trained and her foster describes her as one of the best dogs she's had in her care. At this time we do not recommend small children in a home with Frankie due to their quick and unpredictable movements.
