Carter's Story...
Carter is a 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier Mix that was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Carolina.

Mini Mr Nice Guy! Carter waited patiently at the gate of his kennel for his turn to go out with the photo team. He proved to be a skilled, polite walker and he was a real gentleman as he interacted with the other small dogs. He totally ignored the cats we passed and he made a beeline for the office where he looked like he would have enjoyed the opportunity to be the office mascot and greet all the people coming in. Carter demonstrated his talents in the kissy lap dog category as well. Carter had been overlooked at the shelter and his time was short, but all that is in the past because Carter is now safe with TLC helping him find a home. Please consider Carter if you are in search of a calm, polite smaller dog who enjoys long walks and mixes nicely with humans, dogs, and cats

If interested in meeting Carter, please go to http://www.tlcrescuepa.com/adoption/ to fill out an application.

Carter will be available to meet you on January 24th

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carter, a Kimberton Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
