Carter is a lively, loving sweet little man!. How he lost his home we will never understand.

Carter is currently in foster with another dog and cats and thriving. He loves his adventures at the dykes and getting his playful energy out. Carter even knows some basic commands so we would like to see him go to a home prepared to not only work on maintaining his current level of training but advance it.

Carter is a smart boy and will require mental stimulation as well as physical. He would love to have a furry play friend in his new home as he really does enjoy his own "kind".

If you feel you have the time and energy to give Carter his new leash on life please connect with us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carter, a Pitt Meadows Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Pitt Meadows, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Pitt Meadows.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pitt Meadows already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pitt Meadows breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pitt Meadows paves the way for another one to be saved.
