Whiskey is an 8 month old American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog Terrier mix. He comes complete with the cutest little bulldog underbite and the most beautiful hazel/green/grey/blue eyes you've ever seen! Best of all, after a few weeks with his 5 foster brothers and sisters he is really learning what it means to be part of the pack. AND that he's at the bottom of said pack! He's even aware of and respecting that the older animals are off limits. He does still need time and patience when meeting new dogs but as soon as he realizes they are friendly and not a threat, he is all play all the time. Whiskey's favorite thing to do is play with his tennis ball. He will play with that ball by himself, with other dogs, with humans, it really does not matter, he just loves that darn ball! He is house trained and loves his crate. He's a dream in the car, just as long as you don't feed him right before. :) Don't you need a little more Whiskey in your life???
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for our Triple Header event weekend! First, CPR will be with North Shore Animal League at Petland in Southbury, CT Friday, June 19th from 2pm-6pm. On Saturday, June 20th CPR will be at Petsmart in Meriden, CT from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an open house at their adoption center in Southbury, CT on Sunday, June 21st from 10:30am-1:30pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from Sunday's event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This puppy is spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
