Johnny is a survivor of the kitties rescued by the HSUS from San Nicolas Island who came to live at C.A.R.E. with several others during the initial rescue phase. He is from a long, long line of feral kits who lived on the island for half a century until recent times when the Navy occupying the island decided they needed to go - one way or the other.
He has lived at C.A.R.E. since 2009 and still has a long way to go before he considers humans somebody he wants to get up close and personal with!
