Oreo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Oreo's Story...
Meet Oreo. He is a very handsome man who just like most cats, loves to have his own way. It is Oreo's way or the highway. For this reason, he is not good with younger children. He loves people, just not ones that tug on his tail or harass him. If you do, he will let you know he does not like it. He has fur that feels like a rabbit, and he will snuggle with you on a cold winter night. He loves to sit beside you, or on you! He gets along with submissive cats and any dog though takes some time to get used to them. He is a large cat. Are you looking for a handsome fella with a mustache?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a McKinney Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
