My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carol Peletier (for all of you Walking Dead fans!) is a one year old beagle who was just released from a biomedical research facility. She is crate-trained, and we are working on house-breaking her. She does great with other dogs, with cats and with kids, and would make a great addition to your home!

If you're interested in adopting Carol, please first read about our adoption process. Then, complete an adoption application found at www.happypawsrescue.org under the *ADOPT* tab, and email it to happypawsrescue@gmail.com. You may not know it, but you might have a BEAGLE to thank for your medicines! Beagles are used for safety testing of human and veterinary medicines for the same reasons that they make good pets; they're small and gentle-natured. Where does Happy Paws Rescue come into the picture? On a regular basis, research facilities have beagles that they release to us.
