Joe's Info...

Joe's Story...
Meet Joe! He is a big, handsome, snuggly guy. Joe is about three years old and weighs about 14 lbs. Joe spent the first few years of his life on the street but he loves people and wanted a home to call his own. He loves his foster parents, has a loud happy purr and is a very affectionate guy. He is happy to have a warm dry place to sleep, some food and a person to snuggle.

Joe is litter box trained, neutered, microchipped, felv/fiv tested and up to date on all his vaccinations. He tested positive for FIV so he needs a home either as an only cat or with cat brothers/sisters that also have FIV.

He is currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but is not picky about where he ends up as long as he is loved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joe, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
