Fraser & Zara (Kitten Pair)'s Story...
Meet our newest tiny rescues who met in foster care and quickly fell in love!.
Their foster mom writes: "Every time I come in the room, Fraser (brown classic tabby boy) has his arm over Zara ( tiny black girl). She snuggles in under his arm and he is definitely comforting and protecting her. It's just the sweetest thing! " Fraser, who is about 2 weeks older than little Zara, is quite the character with a huge purrsonality! He often sits up on his hind legs like a prairie dog to get attention. Zara is full of kitten cuteness...her tail was badly injured while she was out on the streets leaving a portion of it dead. It has now been removed, leaving her with a bobtail look!
Both kittens are not only adorable but super loving, playful and well socialized
They are seeking a home where they can remain TOGETHER! We will not separate them.
Accepting applications now. Meet them in their Burke, VA foster home. Updated 1/9/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fraser & Zara (Kitten Pair), a Arlington Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
